There’s a lot of bathroom and kitchen design in this month’s Pinterest favourites.
A beautiful monochrome black and white bathroom to start August Pinterest. Using black and white can be cold in a bathroom space but mixed with patterns and textures helps to add interest and warmth to the space.
I love the geometric floor tiles and the black textured herringbone wall tiles.
Interiors

This interior by Za Za Interior Design uses a grid style layout mixing large terrazzo patterns with textured concrete blocks.

Another concrete bathroom design finished with gold fixtures and an arched black shower door helps soften the interior look.

A beautiful wet room design using white and blue herringbone pattern used throughout helps break the space up.

I love this design by Studio Moore of mixing the finishes of kitchen cabinetry drawers next to each other.

The marble counter top and backsplash it the focal point for this kitchen paired with blush tones and wood cabinetry.

Introduce moulding to a room and it will work in with whatever you style is. A traditional look, modern or anywhere in between.

A different type of panelling design that’s been used in this cafe interior. The modern geometric panelling adds depth and interest on what would have been just a plain neutral wall.
Finishes

Your closet area is an area you can have fun with no matter how big or small it is. You can design the doors with different hardware and finishes even if it’s Ikea bought.

Contrasting the textured plastered wall with the smooth vessel bowl and the hot pink against the cool grey makes a big bathroom statement.
And something totally different.

Matte black, on matte black with more black. A big trend for kitchens at the moment! Mix different surfaces and patterns together to complete the look.
Styling

Decorating and styling a bar cart is a great way to fill an empty wall or corner. Especially for a celebration or holiday season.

Is anyone else looking forward to the Autumn season? A time to cozy up with blankets, a hot drink and a big pile of books.

Anthropologie is one of the best places for home decor like cushions and throws. There are times when I think you can easily make your own cushions. Then I see a beautiful stitched cushion like this and think I haven’t got the time!
It does want to make me practice my sewing skills. But in the mean time….

No, this isn’t from Ikea. (Unfortunately). This is something I can easily see being in their stores as it’s practical and so stylish!
It’s origin is however, Swedish by Aska Sweden. So that explains a lot. A cool little shelf perfect for a bedroom or bathroom.
