The first post of 2021 and even though most of us are glad to see the back of 2020, I’m going to take a quick look back to some of the top favourites from December Pinterest. There were some good things about last year! Even if it was just on Pinterest!
The featured photo is a beautiful open concept kitchen, dining area and living room from design duo of the Bone Made studio. Some more of this project is featured in today’s post.

Even though the interior is mostly black and white there are places where they’ve gone for something more decorative. The floral wallpaper on the side of the staircase makes a beautiful backdrop for the dining room table and a great feature for the whole room.

Bold patterned tiles are the way to go! These amazing tiles have been used along the kitchen backsplash and carried through to the seating area in the kitchen, all the way through to the exterior courtyard.
A great idea to extend the space in the home. Also showing that tiles don’t have to be cornered only to the back wall behind the cooker and sink.

The rusty red colour, on the top half of the bathroom walls really warms up the whole interior against the stacked white tile design. The black decor and finishes top off the modern look.
Interior Styling

A beautiful Japandi style interior with a soothing calm colour blue. Similar to Benjamin Moore’s chosen colour for 2021 Aegean Teal.

A stunning floating vanity made of a green marble takes centre stage of the bathroom. Against the white walls not much else is needed. The oil rubbed bronze hardware and lighting pick out the darker tones of the stone.

Another bathroom interior with a contemporary style. Using an oversized round rimmed black mirror for the back wall. And modern smoked pendant lights in the corner.

This is part of the gorgeous interior design by Fliss and Leah Pittman of Bone Made interior studio. The feature photo of the post in the dining room from the same project. Loving the relaxed and elegant vibe using natural materials like rattan paired with the minimal styling.

I’m still living for black interiors and mini libraries. This is an impressive collection of fashion books. Love the dramatic black book ledge wall.

This deep purple colour gives a moody and elegant look, styled with the home decor and accessories.

A really cool and modern playroom design by just getting creative with some paint! An abstract mural brings even more fun to the space while the colour tones make it far from babyish.

It doesn’t matter what space you have to work with it you’re working from home. This little office setup is enough to get your work started and keep you inspired for the rest of the day.
Fashion

Nude nails with copper flecked tips. So pretty! This look will go with anything.

Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean you have to hide your red item clothing away. Love this bold red jumper layered with the gold jewellery!

Another sleek winter outfit. A chunky knit cropped jumper paired and asymmetrical high waisted trousers, with a long over overcoat. All neutral tones for this outfit, totally opposite to the look before.
