February Pinterest 2022 Favourites
I love this bedroom update from Haneen’s Home. This update is from last year. She has since updated her bedroom since then. But I love these muted earthy colours with brass accents and the gorgeous four poster bed!
It feels ultra cozy with the layered bed with different blankets and cushions. Green draperies have been added to the black four poster bed. Which is a great idea!
A few thrifted decor accessories finish off the mature bedroom style. And the brass finishes make it ultra sophisticated.
Moody colours for the bedroom aren’t your thing? Then this light and airy bedroom will be right up your street. Simple materials and colours like warm whites and wood finishes help create a calming bedroom to wake up to.
Modern decor finishes like the paper light pendant and the sheer curtains emphasize the lightness. Play around with the bedroom styling to add interest to the space.
The shape and pattern of this headboard is so nice! I love the play between the floral pattern and the plain fabric in the middle. It’s definitely an usual headboard!
And how cute is the little tassel pendant light over the floating nightstand?!
The design is by French interior design company BR Design Interiors. And if you’re planning a trip to Paris the hotel is Hotel Leopold Paris.
A beech wood built across the width of the bedroom, doubles as a simple headboard and picture ledge. The shelf can be layered with art and decor as much or as little as you like. Depending on the look you’re going for.
Floating shelves and a modern swing arm sconce are integrated into the headboard for a minimal look.
What do you think of when the phrase colour blocking comes up? Bright and bold clashing colours?
Colour blocking can be with any colours you like. Bold and intense or neutral soft tones just like this wall from Two Men And A Semi via House Of.
Colour blocking with paint is a great way to highlight different areas of your home. Get playful with different shapes and sizes. Using paint is an easy way to transform an area without too much fuss.
The dark and rich paint colour of this gorgeous master bedroom by Rhiannon Lawson makes you want to snuggle up. Mixing old and new pieces together add lots of character to the space. And the decor stands out against the lush paint colour.
By painting the walls and the trim all one colour it makes the room feel even more spacious. Even when the paint colour is dark, it still applies.

This cottagecore kitchen is styled perfectly!
Complete with rustic dinner table and chairs and country dinnerware. Even though the pendant light is more of a modern look, it’s still in keeping with the cottagecore theme of nature. As the light shade design looks like flower petals just opening.
