For this month of inspiration it’s a interior overload! Starting off the first roundup of 2021 with the best of January Pinterest with lots of interior inspiration and ideas. With lockdowns still going on there’s plenty of ideas to be thought of for around the home!
I love, love this bedroom design! Nowadays bedrooms tend to be a big open room but I like this idea of a bit of separation. They could have opted for a bedroom divider but instead used sliding doors with glass to create two areas within the bedroom. Interior design by Miriam Barrio Studio.
The smaller bedroom size makes it more cozy and intimate. And the second room is a great place for relaxing and reading. Hanging pendants above the nightstands help utilize the smaller bedroom space.
Bedrooms

This bedroom is so calming and relaxing in a soft white colour. The repeated pattern in the headboard, wall and nightstand links the design together.
Dining

At first look I thought it was a cool restaurant or cafe but it’s actually an apartment in Paris. The curved colour blocked niches are great focal points in the room and add pops of colour against the white walls.
Kitchens

A cool, transitional family friendly kitchen with a playful patterned tile. The black grout against the white tile ties in with the black kitchen cabinets.

From a transitional kitchen to a beautiful contemporary kitchen. The gorgeous black and brown veining of the marble steals the show. Only a simple slim line marble shelf is put across so as to get the full impact of the marble. By Australian design studio Handelsmann & Khaw.

Another marble kitchen but something totally different! A deep coloured teal creates an elegant and dramatic contemporary kitchen to compliment the green marble used for the backsplash and counter tops.
Bathrooms

With a bathtub like this you could be in a spa retreat a self care day for sure. The rattan pendant shade throws beautiful patterns across the room.

A large scale botanical print wallpaper takes centre position on the bathroom vanity wall. The floating green and black vanity compliments the colours from the wallpaper. I like the idea of two different sized mirrors instead of the usual one large scale mirror above the vanity.

There’s no specific pattern laid out for these graphic tiles in the bathroom and it looks so good! The pattern is modern and lively while the cream and navy colours give it a sophisticated look.

Office

Two of everything from Ikea’s office section to create a simple but much needed double office at home.
Styling & Finishes

Fixing a simple peg rail underneath an open shelf is a great way to create more storage and keep organized in the kitchen. All of the wall elements are painted white so the peg rail blends in with everything.

Grouping together a simple few items can transform an empty surface in the room and add lots of style. I love the use of fresh eucalyptus stems, a candle while the rest of items have been grouped together on a tray.

I love the mustard yellow colour of the wallpaper and intricate art nouveau style pattern. This wallpaper would suit cottagecore style interior.

Some more mustard yellow tones used in the shelf niches paired with a sky blue colour. The cannage doors used beside the open niches on the closed storage work well together.
