If you’re a lover of books I’m sure you have or would like to have a designated reading place in your home. I love the idea of reading rooms or just a spot in the home to sink into another world. Living Rooms
I love this idea for a reading spot! Framing the window view by building it out with the bookshelves and adding a window seat to enjoy your book from.
A corner sofa coupled with a built in wall bookcase makes a great reading corner. Adding some colour to the seating and the wall area is sure to make it interesting.
If you’re lucky enough to have high ceilings you can utilise the height with vertical book shelves. You can have your own double stacked library within a moment’s reach.
A feature fireplace is a great area for a home reading spot. Especially on the colder winter nights.
Having a mini library centred around a little breakfast area is a nice way to start the day with your loved one.
Study Reading Rooms
A home study area filled wall to wall with books is a perfect place for creation and inspiration.
Equally you can create the same effect in a smaller space, making use of wall alcoves to fill the space.
Two bookshelves are used to make a semi private reading area. One to fill on the back wall and the other as a divider to the space.
